Involvement

In addition to various cooperations with other associations and institutions in the field of nutrition, SWAN is also involved in the following alliances, committees and associations:

AEG: Alliance for Nutrition and Health

The National Alliance for Nutrition and Health aims to work in partnership and jointly to promote the concerns of health-promoting and sustainable nutrition in politics. The Nutrition and Health Alliance consists of stakeholders who promote and demand a health-promoting and sustainable diet in Switzerland. It was founded in Bern in January 2020.

Since its foundation, various working groups have been established within AEG. Various members of SWAN are involved in these working groups.

Among others, the working group Nutrition & Corona Pandemic was founded in April 2020. The aim of the working group is to prepare current research results in the fields of nutrition and prevention against the background of the corona pandemic for politics and the public.

The working group produced a fact sheet in summer 2020. Thanks to the SWAN members Sabine Rohrmann and David Fäh for the preparation under the direction of Pascale Mühlemann and Melanie Loessner for the comprehensive work!
