To get straight to the point: As a nutritionist and author of this article, I decided against the official recognition process when I moved to Switzerland around 20 years ago because the prospects were rather slim, the effort very high - and I did not want to opt for a setting exclusively in the advisory-therapeutic field. The path to my professional development and the search for an attractive job were rocky at times, but it was worth it for me.
