SWAN-VEÖ combination members benefit additionally:
reduced fees for conferences and meetings if VEÖ acts as (co-)organiser. Registration can be done via the homepage www.veoe.org/termine, there, the VEÖ membership prize can be selected.
If someone is ONLY a SWAN member, the partner rate is available for this member. In order to be able to claim this, a proof of SWAN membership is necessary.
2) SWAN meetings
SWAN network meetings usually take place twice a year (spring and autumn) alternately in Bern and Zurich. In addition to an input presentation on a nutritional topic with an external speaker, the focus is on networking and the interests of our association.
3) Networking
A connection to other associations and institutions in the field of nutrition is important to us. Even beyond the borders of Switzerland.
We are in a lively exchange and good contact with various associations in the field of nutrition at home and abroad. SWAN also represents the Swiss Local Group (VDOE regional) of VDOE in Germany.
Since many areas of interest overlap, SWAN generally strives for cooperation with existing professional associations.
What types of SWAN memberships exist?
Regular membership:
Contribution: CHF 150 per year
For entries from 01.07. of the year CHF 75.
Student membership:
Contribution: CHF 50 per year

SWAN-VDOE combination membership:
Contribution: CHF 100.- year (SWAN) plus 105.- EUR (VDOE)
A combined membership is open to all SWAN members and must be applied for separately at SWAN and VDOE.

The membership fees are to be paid separately for each association. Only in case of simultaneous membership with both associations (SWAN and VDOE) the reduced fee is granted with both associations. More information about the advantages of a SWAN-VDOE combined membership can be found here.
SWAN-VEÖ combination membership:
SWAN members who are also VEÖ members benefit from a reduced membership fee of 110.- CHF instead of 150.- CHF at SWAN.
A combined membership is open to all SWAN members and must be applied for separately at SWAN and VEÖ.
The membership fees must be paid separately to each association. Only if you are a member of both associations simultaneously (SWAN and VEÖ), the reduced fee is granted to both associations.
Important:
The membership fees have to be paid separately for each association, only in case of simultaneous membership with two associations (SWAN and VDOE, resp. VEÖ) the reduced fee will be granted with both associations.
In case of simultaneous combined membership with different cooperation partners of SWAN, a reduction of the membership fee can only be granted for one association.
In case of an imminent change in the form of membership (e.g. admission/termination of studies, entry/exit VDOE/VEÖ), this registration must be reported to the SWAN secretariat (contact@swan-nutrition) as soon as possible, but at the latest by December 15th of each year. Please enclose required documents, such as a certificate of study.
